A little bit kooky & quirky. Always fun and looking on the bright side even if it gets ridiculous!

Christmas Cards

So a moose, a bear, a beaver and a snowman were tobogganing down a hill. . .

These snowmen are like the scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz - no brains.  Sure they have the perfect multi marshmallow roasters, but that's not all that's going to get roasted.

I have brand new greeting cards available now.  Just contact me.

Old School

This truly is 'Old School'.  I found this wooden ruler with a handy pencil holder and an inlaid metal edge way in the back of my messy desk drawer.  They don't make 'em like that anymore.  Made in Canada by ACME.  Apparently that is not just a Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Company!

And. . . no metric.  Remember THAT kids?  How many hands have held this oldie, but still going strong, goody?

Captain Canada

Although 'Captain Canada' was painted in December, I couldn't post it until now because it was a Christmas gift for the hockey obsessed daughter of the client who commissioned it.  Merry Christmas Jessie!

Is it so bad to admit I've been drinking way too much hot chocolate when I paint these Canadiana paintings?  And just to add even more sugar, I've been seriously thinking about stocking up on miniature marshmallows.

The Best Game You Can Name

Any Canadian will have the answer to 'The Best Game You Can Name?'
(It's the good old hockey game.)

Stompin' Tom Connors at his finest.  Vintage hockey in this video - no visors, no cages.  Heck - no helmets.  Who needs 'em?
